Technicians
- Tested ideas for heat investigations discussed on the technician’s list-serve recently:
- Use infrared thermometer guns on different coloured cars in the carpark
- Penguin analogy. In a large beaker snuggly pack test tubes filled with hot water. Leave. Measure water temp of outer- & inner-most test tubes to find the gradient.
- Make solar oven, covered in tin foil, to heat a beaker of water. Measure temp increase over time.
