Technicians

  1. MnO2 will release O2 from H2O2 but is very messy to clean up. So, mix 1 part MnO2 with 3 parts plaster of Paris, then make a paste & roll into pea-sized balls to set (or use a piping bag). This is much easier to clean up & shows that the catalyst isn’t used in the reaction (strain, dry & re-use)
